Requirements:


- Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental science or related field;
- Minimum 2 years of relevant environmental compliance experience and knowledge in a manufacturing environment; Knowledge of legislation regarding OSH, SU; Waste Management Certification;
- Demonstrated experience applying environmental regulations and working with environmental regulatory agencies; - Experience managing wastewater permits;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to deal with various levels of employees, management, vendors, and customers;
- Strong organizational skills, with an ability to be flexible in a dynamic work environment;
- Fluent in Romanian and English language.

Responsibilities:

Ensures that plant procedures and programs comply with local and country environmental regulations;
Assist the plant with monitoring, sampling, waste shipment tracking, and testing programs as needed and to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental permit limitations;
Create annual and monthly environmental reports, e.g. Annual Waste Summary, Toxic Release Inventory, and Discharge Monitoring Reports;
Coordinate regulatory inspections and regulatory reporting with agencies;
Interpret regulations and identify sound solutions across air, waste, and water;
Lead environmental improvement and waste reduction projects to help meet company sustainability goals; Responsible for collecting, and centralizing up-to-date data related to the environment and waste management;
It ensures the organization's compliance with the legal requirements regarding environmental protection, periodically checks the legislation regarding environmental protection, and creates monthly reports regarding the waste management of the organization;
Elaboration of the waste management plan within the organization;
Carrying out audits regarding the organization of environmental protection within the organization;
Elaboration of the documentation for obtaining the regulatory acts, and the self-monitoring program.
