We are looking for a new dedicated colleague to join in our Operations team: Ideal candidate: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role; Speak and write English fluently (business negotiation level); Have a hands-on approach to freight forwarding; Focus on finding solutions instead of seeing limitations; Be a team player and have good interpersonal skills; Agile approach with increased flexibility ( think outside the box ). Responsibilities: Bidding for all products, IMPORT-EXPORT participation managing tender processes; Negotiate rates, local charges, and trucking managing subcontractors and active participation in sales processes; Maintaining and optimizing the client's portfolio; Organize shipments, issue SOP, register shipments into the IT system, and maintain KPI for global customers; Costs and billing estimates; Preparing documentation for customs formalities (transit or import); Carrying out and preparing the custom clearance documents for the customers and following up the whole process; Carrying out the transit customs formalities and organizing the transportation of goods; Organizing transportation to the customer s warehouse; Initiating the procedure for the payment of customs broker fee, handling and transportation (depending on the delivery terms), and cost approval; Preparing reports (monthly or on-demand) related to Operations Department activities for local Management. Requirements: - Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental science or related field; - Minimum 2 years of relevant environmental compliance experience and knowledge in a manufacturing environment; Knowledge of legislation regarding OSH, SU; Waste Management Certification; - Demonstrated experience applying environmental regulations and working with environmental regulatory agencies; - Experience managing wastewater permits; - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to deal with various levels of employees, management, vendors, and customers; - Strong organizational skills, with an ability to be flexible in a dynamic work environment; - Fluent in Romanian and English language. Responsibilities: Ensures that plant procedures and programs comply with local and country environmental regulations; Assist the plant with monitoring, sampling, waste shipment tracking, and testing programs as needed and to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental permit limitations; Create annual and monthly environmental reports, e.g. Annual Waste Summary, Toxic Release Inventory, and Discharge Monitoring Reports; Coordinate regulatory inspections and regulatory reporting with agencies; Interpret regulations and identify sound solutions across air, waste, and water; Lead environmental improvement and waste reduction projects to help meet company sustainability goals; Responsible for collecting, and centralizing up-to-date data related to the environment and waste management; It ensures the organization's compliance with the legal requirements regarding environmental protection, periodically checks the legislation regarding environmental protection, and creates monthly reports regarding the waste management of the organization; Elaboration of the waste management plan within the organization; Carrying out audits regarding the organization of environmental protection within the organization; Elaboration of the documentation for obtaining the regulatory acts, and the self-monitoring program.
