We are looking for a new dedicated colleague to join in our Operations team: Ideal candidate: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role; Speak and write English fluently (business negotiation level); Have a hands-on approach to freight forwarding; Focus on finding solutions instead of seeing limitations; Be a team player and have good interpersonal skills; Agile approach with increased flexibility ( think outside the box ). Responsibilities: Bidding for all products, IMPORT-EXPORT participation managing tender processes; Negotiate rates, local charges, and trucking managing subcontractors and active participation in sales processes; Maintaining and optimizing the client's portfolio; Organize shipments, issue SOP, register shipments into the IT system, and maintain KPI for global customers; Costs and billing estimates; Preparing documentation for customs formalities (transit or import); Carrying out and preparing the custom clearance documents for the customers and following up the whole process; Carrying out the transit customs formalities and organizing the transportation of goods; Organizing transportation to the customer s warehouse; Initiating the procedure for the payment of customs broker fee, handling and transportation (depending on the delivery terms), and cost approval; Preparing reports (monthly or on-demand) related to Operations Department activities for local Management.
